Dandy's 2nd day with us.
How long does it take to turn a small town Texas pug into a big city diva? About the time it took to put on this dress - about 15 seconds. She ran down the stairs and began struttin' her stuff all over the place. Took over the entire courtyard. Charmed all the neighbors. Became BFF with Nanook - the little poodle x maltese thing that lives in our complex. The 2 of them ran and played and sniffed butts for a good hour. Dandy cried when Nanook had to go inside! Elvis did his best to keep up and actually managed fairly well but quickly tired of the girls and just sat in the sun. We came in and all curled up and took a nap. Dandy LOVES sleeping on the bed next to Elvis and Elvis loves having her around. Last night he slept with his little puggy head on her back. Her first night here was quiet and uneventful even though there was a hail storm outside. She seems quite happy here.
